During the program, Cory Friedman, Vice President of the Benefits Consulting practice at GCG Financial, will discuss how practices can evaluate the effectiveness of their existing benefits program, how to improve existing or implement new programs, and how to develop a long-term benefits strategy. Veterinary-specific industry benchmarks will be referenced throughout the presentation and participants will leave equipped to strategically-approach their next benefits renewal cycle.

About Cory Friedman, CBC
Cory Friedman is Vice President of the Benefits Consulting practice at GCG Financial, Inc. Cory specializes in the mid-market segment, and has developed considerable expertise working in the veterinary, and restaurant & hospitality industries. Cory works to provide guidance and objective analysis of group insurance benefits and is currently responsible for the health insurance and employee benefit programs of more than 200 privately held organizations across the country.
Cory has earned the Chartered Benefits Consultant (CBC) designation, provided by the National Association of Alternative Benefits Consultants, which demonstrates his expertise in Consumer-Driven Health Plans. In 2016, he was selected as a Young Gun Award recipient by Insurance Business America, which recognizes young professionals making a significant impact in the insurance industry.
Cory is a graduate of Indiana University, where he studied Finance at the Kelley School of Business.
Upon joining GCG Financial, Cory quickly began building an extensive employee benefits practice and established himself as a champion of client service. Cory has also been recognized as a Circle of Excellence and Delta Club qualifier.
Cory lives in Chicago, Illinois and enjoys spending time with his wife, Genna, playing hockey, traveling, reading, and writing.
